I was raised on the streets of Cleveland, Ohio in and out of the foster care system, incarcerations, until adulthood. After doing all the wrong things as a youth, I entered Teen Challenge, a Christian based residential recovery program and began moving in the right direction. From there, I entered the Morris Cerullo School of Ministry in San Diego, Ca .
While a student, I began building the foundations for my first anti-gang ministry; finally settling in Birmingham and establishing Intercession Ministries, Inc. I was appointed by former Mayor Richard Arrington as an official gang liaison for the city of Birmingham from 1992-1995. I worked as a gang advisor to the city government until 2001.
I have spent the last 18 years as a talk radio personality, lobbyist and activist in the Birmingham area. I have consistently attended council and committee meetings and have attended more meeting during this 18 year period than any other person in the city of Birmingham . I have received honors and accolades for anti-gang and dedicated community based work as well as numerous other causes through the years by various groups and associations, including the White House, the State of Alabama, City of Huntsville, the Metro Democratic Women’s Club, Birmingham Public Schools, NAACP, SCLC KING Award and Airport Neighbors United.
Currently I severe as the Co-Director of the mayor office of citizen assistance Birmingham. I have spent the better part of the last 18 years committed to learning about our city government, the legislative process, as well as listening and working with the people on pertinent issues. I became a well-respected activist at Birmingham City Hall and in the community. I have a positive, working relationship with our city workers, community activists and neighborhood leaders. I have developed a wealth of knowledge and am ready to use my voice and become proactive on the issues facing our city. I believe my life history and work over the last 18 years has best prepared me for the next role as host of’ FEEDBACK’ on WATV 900 GOLD.. (GOING FOR THE GOLD WITH YOUR FEEDBACK)
